Sharing Our Success
At CEM, we believe that success is a direct result of value created. This truth applies to individuals, teams, companies and communities. We also believe that even greater value can be created when success is generously shared with many, rather than hoarded for a few. It is these beliefs that form the foundation of CEM’s Shared Success© program, which consists of the following four components.*
TAXES & INVESTMENTS
As an S-Corporation, income taxes flow through the company to the individual stock owners. CEM retains up to 40% of annual operating cash flow for income taxes, and funding company growth initiatives.
BONUS INCENTIVE COMPENSATION
Remaining operating cash flow is allocated to a Bonus Incentive Compensation pool, where eligible employees are rewarded for achieving specific short-term and annual goals appropriate for their position and attendant responsibilities.
STOCK AND OPTIONS
Employees may use up to 50% of any annual Bonus Incentive Compensation to purchase CEM stock. At the time of purchase, employees are given matching stock options, effectively doubling their investment opportunity.
PROFIT DISTRIBUTIONS
Stock owners are rewarded by the growth in value of company stock, and with periodic distributions of profits that are allocated according to ownership.

Profit Sharing
Profits are the only true measure of a company’s success in addition to the health, happiness and wellbeing of our employees. We believe a percentage of these profits should be shared among all employees in proportion to the efforts made to earn them.
Every fiscal year, after deductions and adjustments determined by our CFO, CEM apportions its profits, if any, as follows:
Stock and Option Plan
Our culture integrates a vested interest among all employees in the success of our business.
All regular and full and part-time employees (excluding Full-Time per Contract and Interns) are given the opportunity to apply up to 50% of their profit-sharing distributions to the purchase of CEM stock on an annual basis, subject to the terms of the purchase plan. When stock is purchased, employees are given a matching number of stock options that can be exercised at a later date.–>
